Toni Sanchez

Toni Sanchez is a Spanish artist who specializes in abstract expressionism. He was born in Valencia, Spain in 1965 and has been living in the United States since 2001.

Sanchez’s art is inspired by his time spent in the United States, poring over American culture, studying very closely the rock and roll lifestyle of the 50’s and 60’s, the lifestyles of the various pop artists the movement generated, and the paintings they produced.

He furthers his study of the Pop Art genre wherever his travels take him, looking for new influences and ideas to add to his work.

Sanchez’s use of colour is both harmonious and dynamic, and his attention to balance and detail makes his works a sophisticated choice in abstract expressionism art.

Sanchez’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions and collections, both in Spain and internationally. In 2017, he had his first solo show at the Valencia Museum of Art in Valencia, Spain. His work is also held in private collections in Spain, the United States, and Europe.
